Wine making equipment

Home winemaking is a very interesting and exciting activity that people do all over the world. Of course, at first, beginning winemakers do not strive to achieve impeccable taste and bouquet, but after a certain time, after creating several batches of homemade wine, you want something more. There may be many reasons for this, but the main one is dissatisfaction with the taste of the wine product.

In order to achieve a really good result in the process of creating wine, only proven technologies should be used. It is also necessary to use only the equipment that meets all the requirements of modern winemaking. Of course, you can use old, homemade tools, but in this case no one can guarantee a high, at least acceptable quality of the product that will be obtained at the output.

To create wine at home, you need special equipment, devices, materials, technologies, as well as patience and confidence in the result.

Equipment, accessories, materials for making noble aged wine at home:

  • mashers, grinders, crushers of raw materials;
  • food pumps;
  • presses;
  • accessories for cleaning;
  • ingredients for fermentation, refining, aging;
  • oak barrels;
  • containers for fermentation, storage;
  • capping devices.

The entire spectrum is presented different types of winemaking equipment:

  • Tank equipment (tanks and vessels for wine fermentation). A wide range of technological tanks for mixing must, fermentation, must liquefaction, storage and blending of wine.
  • The receiving inspection line receives and inspects grapes.
  • Receiving bins are a type of technological equipment whose task is to receive raw materials to ensure uniform operation of the line.
  • Crushers and scallops crush the wine material and clean it from scallops. In the settings of the unit, you can change the metric of the gaps between the rotating mechanisms.
  • Presses. Press membrane equipment for wine processing can be of open (for the production of red wine) and closed (white wine) types. Installation of the units allows to automate the process and simplify its cleaning.
  • Basket pressing equipment is designed to separate the pulp from the grapes.
  • Horizontal vinificators are a cylindrical tank with a conical bottom, in which red wines are infused and coloring and aromatic substances are extracted. The cyclic rotation of the tank sets the internal screws in motion, ensuring the mixing of the must at a given temperature.
  • Vertical vinificators are equipment for primary winemaking, in which maceration is carried out - fermentation of the pulp of red wine varieties. It is also used for short-term aging of white wines.
  • Fermenters are vats in which continuous fermentation of white wine material occurs.
  • Conveyors move grapes, pulp and pomace combs.
  • Stainless steel measuring devices are units for measuring liquid volume.
  • Filtration equipment is designed to filter liquids with a high dry matter content. The process is continuous due to automation.
  • Flotation units are used to clarify must in a flow. Small nitrogen or air bubbles formed in the must capture solid particles and lift them to the surface.
  • Pumping equipment pumps pulp and thick liquids.
  • Heat exchange equipment in primary winemaking is used for cold treatment of crushed wine material and must.
  • Refrigeration equipment quickly cools the finished product in the flow.
  • Acratophores are equipment for industrial winemaking, in which wine material is champagnized.
